Transfer super to LGsuper
Transferring other super to LGsuper could save you time and money. It also means you’ll be less likely to forget where your money is.
It’s easy. Simply complete a Transfer form for each account you want to transfer, and return it to LGsuper.
We then contact the other fund for you, and let you know when we’ve received your money. This generally takes around one month.
You should note that if you don’t send proof of identification to LGsuper your other fund will probably contact you for additional information before they will transfer your money.
If you prefer, you can use your other fund’s form to organise the transfer. You will need to provide them with the following details about LGsuper and your account:
- SFN: 150541
- ABN: 23 053 121 564
- SPIN: not applicable
- Your member number. This is shown on your annual benefit statement
LGsuper does not charge entry fees on money received. Before requesting a transfer, you should check with your other fund/s to see whether they charge any exit or penalty fees, or if you will lose insurance cover.
