There’s around $19 billion out there
Australians have around $19 billion in ‘lost’ super waiting to be claimed – and some of it could be yours! If you’ve changed jobs, name, or address, your super fund may have lost contact with you and reported your super as ‘lost’ to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
To check if you have any lost super, visit the ATO website to access SuperSeeker. Or call 13 10 20 for their self-help service. You will need to provide your name, date of birth and tax file number.
If you happen to find some lost super, you can fill in an online form at the SuperSeeker website, and the ATO can electronically transfer the super to your LGsuper account. So easy!
