Unit prices are the net investment valuations that applies to the investment options in your account.

For MySuper and Brighter Super options, returns are reported on a basis of soft close valuations and are net of investment fees and costs and transaction costs, net of taxes, and net of the percentage-based administration fee (accrued in the unit price).

For Optimiser options, returns are reported on a basis of soft close valuations and are net of investment fees and costs and transaction costs, and net of taxes. Returns are gross of all administration fees and costs.

Brighter Super publishes a daily unit prices and performance for the current financial year to date in the table below. The table also shows performance for one, three, five, seven and ten years as at the end of the previous month.

Earning rates for Defined Benefit funds are updated weekly (usually on Wednesday) to reflect the market movements to the close of business to the previous Friday.

^ The MySuper investment option launched on 1 May 2021. The cumulative investment return over 10 years is based on the option’s predecessor products, MySuper under 75 and Diversified Growth.

Where N/A appears above for return periods longer than one year; this is due to the investment option being in existence for time periods less than the return period listed.

The Indexed Balanced option commenced on 6 April 2019.

Please note that on 11 August 2022 the Brighter Super investment options for Transition to Retirement (TTR) Pension accounts were closed and replaced with the Brighter Super Accumulation options.

Investment options for the Optimiser Accumulation and Optimiser Pension products commenced on 1 June 2023 with the exception of MySuper.
